The Initiatives for Sharing programseeks to promote the democratic and responsible participation of girls and boys, through their empowerment as agents of change, interested in cooperating and contributing to the common good.

During the program, participants develop a project that seeks to find a solution for any problem identified in their community; based on the understanding that small actions conduce to big changes and that local actions contribute to global achievements.

From a child participation approach, civic attitudes are strengthened. Students develop dialogue, reflection and organizational skills to generate their own initiatives, at the same time as they value their opinions, their voices and participate in a democratic process for the first time.

Videos for Change is a global initiative by the Australian organization High Resolves that equips young people aged 13 to 25 with tools to create one-minute videos about pressing issues in their communities, using art as a medium for reflection and social expression.

The program promotes skills such as critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and collaboration, while strengthening young people’s confidence and agency to make a positive impact.

Education for Sharing serves as the strategic partner (Discovery and Collaboration Partner) of High Resolves in Spanish-speaking Latin America, leading the regional implementation of the program.

In Mexico, the initiative has been developed under the name Nuestro Enfoque MX. Videos for Change, led by Fundación FEMSA in collaboration with E4S and local education authorities in Nuevo León and Guanajuato.

Objective: Foster a deeper connection with nature through play, exploration, and reflection on how humans are interconnected within ecosystems.
Description: A virtual exchange program that promotes weather literacy and action with a nature-based solutions approach. It connects schools and youth organizations across different regions to explore links between local and global environmental issues, reflect, play, and exchange ideas for innovation.

Objective: Develop cultural competences in children by encouraging appreciation of their own and other cultures through play and intercultural dialogue.
Description: A virtual exchange program connecting schools from different countries. Participants explore their cultural identities, create handcrafted treasures representing their cultures, and exchange them with peers from other regions, nurturing empathy, and peace.

Founder and President

Dina is a Mexican social entrepreneur who didn't like to sit still at school and found other opportunities to learn when she played and explored new possibilities. Her greatest passion revolves around the empowerment of students, teachers and families, to accompany them in the search for their purpose in the world through the power of play.

Dina earned a B.A. degree in International Relations at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM); is a Hubert Humphrey Fellow in Urban Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Gleitsman Fellow at the Harvard School of Government where she earned a Master's degree in Public Administration.

Dina has been recognized as part of several organizations for her social work and entrepreneurship.  She is an Ashoka Fellow, Edmund Hillary Fellow, Schusterman Fellow, Vital Voices Lead, Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum, a member of the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Community, amongst others. She also received the “2018 Emerging Global Leader Award” by the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

Country Manager USA

Brooke has built her career in education and community outreach. After earning a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University in 2005, she spent two years in South America working with Amnesty International on research and campaigns focused on human rights.

Back in the United States, she worked with nonprofits supporting youth from pre-K through college, strengthening relationships with districts and schools and managing program quality to increase impact and growth. She was also a New York Community Trust Leadership Fellow, a professional development program for nonprofit practitioners.

Brooke has led school operations departments, creating systems to improve efficiency. Throughout her career, she has been committed to expanding access to education so communities can reach their full potential. She is excited to bring her experience in relationship building and program management to support Education for Sharing’s mission of creating better global citizens through the power of play.

Hobbies: Hiking, surfing, and exploring new places.

Director of Operations

The Director of Operations at Education for Sharing earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MEDEX) at the IPADE Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences at Universidad Autónoma de México.

Gabriela has participated in various conferences and events on leadership and education, such as the Ninth Informal Working Meeting of the OECD Education 2030 (Vancouver, Canada, 2019), the Third Multilateral Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (New York, USA, 2018), 10x10 Capsules of Social Innovation(Barcelona, ​​Spain, 2018), SDG Action Campaign Forum (Bonn, Germany, 2018),  Leaders in Action for Education Summit (Mexico City, 2012 ) and the Youth Seminar of the World Federationof the United Nations Associations (New York, USA, 2012).

- Her favorite hobbies are reading Fantasy literature, going to the movies and traveling.

Director of Global Partnership

Edgardo studied International Relations at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). Edgardo has participated in various courses such as Contemporary Mexicoat the Colegio de México; Corporate Social Responsibility at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México; he also earned a Diploma on Skills Development by the same institution, as well as a Diploma in Management Skills Strengthening for Leaders of Civil Society Organizations by Fondo Unido and USAID.

Edgardo’s work has been recognized by different national and international organizations. From 2012 to 2015, he was part of the World Federation United Nations Associations Youth Advisory Group, as a representative for the different United Nations Associations in North America. He is currently recognized by the New Zealand government as an Edmund Hillary Fellow.

Andres Omar Hayes has 25 years of experience in, hospitality, banking and marketing. He worked for Visa International for eleven years-seven years in Miami and four in London, England.

He is one of the principal founders of PRIMAPACT, a consulting conglomerate specializing in travel and tourism. One of the youngest regional managers, he was selected as one of the key staff members to open a new operations center for Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 1994.


After Visa International, he managed two major card operations centers in the Americas and Europe as Senior Vice President. He was the General Manager for B. Smith’s in Washington DC for four years. He was the General Manager for The Mansion on O Street.


Andres was a Board Member of both the DC Chamber of Commerce, Greater Washington
Chamber of Commerce and currently a Board Member and Past President (2018) of the Skal
International Washington DC, Club. Andres has the vision and experience to work internationally
on major projects.


He is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Edward Romaine is a proven sales and branded content lead executive with more than 15 yearsof experience overseeing the development and implementation of advertising solutions across
digital, mobile, video, social, experiential and print platforms. Ed sets himself apart not only the through his curation of great agency and client-direct relationships but also through core
competencies including team building, ideation, monetization, detail-oriented sell through and
execution as well as overarching brand strategy.


Beginning his career in the music industry at Warner Music Group, Ed also optimized campaign performances for many Fortune 500 clients at Alloy Media+Marketing, Bauer Media Group and Hearst Media Corporation before serving five years at Conde Nast, overseeing Integrated Marketing + Sales Development at both W and GQ US divisions.


In 2016, Ed was appointed Chief Marketing Officer at Kargo Global. His org at the company
included product marketing, strategy, research, pr/social communications, creative services and
global experiences. He hosted a podcast, Mobilizing Culture, available on iTunes and Google Play.


Ed joined Bleacher Report in 2018 as Chief Brand Officer, overseeing all of the company's
marketing efforts, to build on investments to grow the preeminent sports culture brand.
He also oversees the experience, brand, and design teams helping to consistently bring to life
initiatives emanating from B/R’s content, operations, sales, and other key business groups.
He lives in New York City with his husband and is a consistent mediator for his family who has
dueling sports allegiances of Boston and Philly.

Evan is a litigation partner in Eisner, LLP’s New York office, where he advises clients on highvalue civil disputes, government investigations, and white-collar criminal matters.

Over more than 15 years of practice, Evan has amassed litigation experience ranging from varied commercial disputes to his regular defense of employment and product liability claims.


On these and other matters, Evan frequently advises clients based outside the United States.
For them, he is particularly experienced in navigating disputes with cross-border elements, and using judicial proceedings to advance clients toward their business goals. His clients operate in
many different industries, including healthcare, hospitality, and financial services. Evan also has
multiple clients in the entertainment industry, including foreign intellectual property holders and movie studios.


Evan practices widely across federal and state courts and has appeared before other judicial
bodies in and out of the United States, including the U.K.’s High Court of Justice. Before joining
Eisner, he was a litigation partner at an Am Law 100 law firm.

He holds a PhD in Law from Emory University School of Law and received the New York Rising
Star Award by Super Lawyers Magazine.

Jennifer O’Donoghue has dedicated the past 28 years to understanding and promoting inclusive education as a basis for democracy and social justice. As a senior fellow and deputy director at the Center for Universal Education at Brookings, O’Donoghue coordinates the Echidna Global
Scholars Program.

Her current research focuses on the development of holistic policies to build agency and improve educational, social, and economic opportunities and outcomes for marginalized girls and young women in low- and middle-income countries.

Prior to joining Brookings, O’Donoghue served as research director and general director of
Mexicanos Primero, a leading education policy research and advocacy organization in Mexico,
where she coordinated studies on inclusive education, teacher professional learning, English
language learning, and educational spending, as well as two comparative indexes to evaluate the efforts of the Mexican states to promote inclusive education.

She worked closely with teachers, civil society organizations, and legislators to develop policy proposals during the Mexican constitutional education reform process and collaborated in the construction of the Latin American Learning Community for School Leadership (CALLER), part of the Latin American Education Network (REDUCA).

O’Donoghue worked as an English teacher with refugees and immigrants in Thailand and the United States and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of
Minnesota, Stanford University, and the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).

She holds a B.A. in psychology from Wesleyan University, an M.A. in public affairs from theHubert H. Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in education policy and administration from Stanford University.

After two decades of executive experience in scaling operations and developing leaders, Joy Meserve recently founded her consulting business, Leading with Joy, designed to help young companies as they scale so that in the process their people connect to their purpose, spread more joy in the workplace, and ultimately, establish the foundation needed for growing a sustainable company.

As the former COO of iD Tech, a tech education program for students ages 7-19, she served as an integral force to grow the company from just 4 locations to 190 on-campus locations and online programs available worldwide, reaching over 600,000 students since its inception in 1999.

Known as a partnership leader, she built a trusting, collaborative, aligned, accountable, and fun culture, where people felt intrinsically motivated through respect and autonomy while driving the desired results for the business.

In 2020, when the pandemic hit, she helped lead the company through a pivot from on-campus programs to a robust lineup of online offerings. In June of 2021, Joy aided with iD Tech’s acquisition for $200M.

As Chief Operating Officer, Joy was responsible for the client, student, and staff experience for iD Tech Camps iD Teen Academies, AcademyNEXT, Alexa Cafe, Virtual Tech Camps, Small Group Classes, and Online Private Lessons.

She oversaw the teams delivering on program operations, curriculum, hiring, location management, staff communications, international expansion, client services, and logistics, along with compliance and risk management for all iD Tech programs.

Joy graduated from UC San Diego, magna cum laude, as a double major in communications and theatre.

Michael is Managing Director of Rebeliant LLC and former Senior Advisor to the CEO of Smithfield Foods.

Rosa M. Ertze practices in the area of corporate law, finance and international business transactions, advising domestic, multinational and foreign companies on mergers and
acquisitions, private equity, restructurings, commercial lending, general corporate matters, cross border direct foreign investment, joint ventures and financings.

She works extensively with domestic and Latin-American companies doing inbound and outbound investments and business in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Ms. Ertze has advised and guided several U.S. manufacturing companies in setting up, regulating and closing manufacturing operations in Mexico.

She also has extensive experience in transactions involving stock and asset sales in the U.S. and in Mexico. Ms. Ertze currently serves as the president of Northeast Chapter of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the firm's Cuba Business Group and the Mexican and Latin American desks.

Ms. Ertze is a 2007 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M., International Legal
Studies) and a 2005 graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana (J.D. equivalent). She is fluent
in Spanish.
